Libbie Bond

To get to know Libbie a little better, we asked her a few questions.

If you could create your dream meal in KC, where would you get your appetizer, entrée and dessert from?

Papas fritas con ajo on La Bodega's patio (with a glass of sangria), Almond Asparagus from Blue Koi on 39th Street and a finish it off with a scoop of Goat Cheese, Apricot and Candied Walnut ice cream from Betty Rae's.

What's one KC classic product you can't live without?

Anything from Convivial Production, especially their planters. If I had to choose one, it would be the 2V Hanging Planter. It's just so classic and looks absolutely beautiful hanging in a window.

What would you do on a staycation in KC?

I'd start in the Westside with coffee from Goat Hill and crepes from Chez Elle. Then, head to the River Market and spend the morning searching for goodies at the City Market and River Market Antiques. After a few hours of browsing, I’d get friends together for a mini brewery crawl in the Crossroads and end things with a show at Crossroads KC and a nightcap (and slice of pizza) at Grinder's.
