To get to know Maddie a little better, we asked her a few questions.

What do you love most about KC?

My favorite thing about Kansas City is the atmosphere and community. I like to joke with people that have recently moved here and tell them "Welcome to the cult," but Kansas City is so much more than that. I've never seen a city as rich in its art scene as it is in its humanity.

Where is your favorite place to shop in KC?

My favorite place to shop in Kansas City would have to be Overland Photo Supply. They still carry tons of film, including color, and everyone there is incredibly friendly and helpful. I enjoy being able to buy my film in a physical store, while supporting a local business.
