Sonia
Sonia, also known as @jemappellechanel, is an over-caffeinated Kansas City style blogger and marketing professional. Most recently she received her MBA from the University of Kansas.
To get to know Sonia a little better, we asked her a few questions.
If you could create your dream meal in KC, where would you get your appetizer, entrée and dessert from?
Vegetable samosas and butter chicken from India Palace and key lime pie from Rye.
Where is your favorite place to shop in KC?
Truthfully, most of my shopping is resale/secondhand. My favorite place in KC to shop is Do Good Co. They have a revolving collection of curated secondhand apparel and home goods. Plus, besides being a non-profit they support great causes like Wayside Waifs and KidsTLC.
What would you miss most about our city if you ever moved?
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. It has a permanent piece of my heart. I also really love Betty Rae’s.
