The Ultimate Guide to Kauffman Stadium

Baseball is back in full swing here in KC, and if you haven’t been to the stadium yet this year, you’re in for a few new surprises. Kauffman has completely transformed some of its stands, and I’m so excited to share three of my favorites with you! (Full Disclosure: It was very, very hard to choose).

Dugout Dog House

1. Dugout Dog House has been a consistent stop for me this year, and offers seven options for all your hotdog needs! I went with the KC Barbecue Dog, (a Kansas City staple), with pulled pork, coleslaw, pickles and topped with BBQ sauce; it was nothing short of amazing! *If you’re feeling brave, take a crack at the Sunrise Dog, which consists of sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, fried egg and bacon. Yes, you read that correctly, it has an egg on it.

2. As you can imagine, with my KC BBQ dog in hand, it was time to seek out a drink! Boulevard Brewing Company is now the Official Craft Beer of the Kansas City Royals, and they have made many new additions for you to enjoy this awesome, local partnership. Stands include Hop Stop, Radler Station and the Boulevard Pub, (all of which are on the main floor & pair perfect with a hotdog). The Craft Cocktail at Diamond Club is also a new beverage stand which displays their drinks in beautiful glass with copper piping all throughout, and is definitely a space to see while you’re there!

3. My last stop was very important; The KC Baking Company, which doubles in baked goods & is also a creamery. Your hardest decision of the night will be what flavors, fillings, and toppings you’ll want on your nitro ice cream! (I chose a combination of vanilla, m&m’s, chocolate fudge and gummy bears. I have no regrets).

There you have it, my official guide to all things new at Kauffman Stadium! I hope you guys enjoy the beautiful new spaces, and treat yourself the next time you’re at a game. Go Royals!
