Books Galore, Wine + More: Our Daily Nada
When I heard a boozy bookstore was coming to the River Market, I knew it was going to be a special place; I just had no idea how special. Our Daily Nada is truly a shop that created an oasis as soon I walked in the doors, which goes hand in hand for the reasoning behind their creation.
As a nod to a Hemingway short story, 'A Clean Well Lighted Space', they wanted others to feel they had a place to escape and slow down in. Encouraging you to get “back to the basics,” take time for yourself, and to read a book in a beautiful space. From the colorful covers that line the shelves in back, to the natural light that hits the forest green crushed velvet sofa when you first walk in, this shop is full of magic.
Carlos Mortera, the man behind some of my favorite sandwiches at The Bite, worked with Our Daily Nada to come up with a diverse & beautiful menu. Snack on some small bites + shareables like chili lime cashews or their rotating selection of meats and cheeses- or opt for one of their heartier toast options. I highly recommend the avocado toast... Good. Ness! I went on a Tuesday morning, grabbed some breakfast & an iced Americano, and it was one of the most relaxing moments I’ve had in a long time.
If you're looking for a new spot to grab a glass of wine, a bite to eat & get lost in a read, Our Daily Nada has created the most amazing place for it. Truly such a special spot, and I can't wait to keep going back!
You can find Our Daily Nada at 304 Delaware St, open Tuesdays through Sundays.
