My name is Benjamin Fuentes, Content Creator at @KansasCityFoodieFinds on Instagram. I’m a local blogger who likes to eat all the food and experience all the great things that Kansas City has to offer. Below are the 9 things that any foodie enthusiast in your life would greatly appreciate":

Whiskey is becoming more popular every day. Rieger’s 2018 Holiday Edition Whiskey is a great gift for any whiskey aficionado in your life. Not only is a great addition to anyone’s whiskey shelf but also a great whiskey to cook with as well, if you want to get creative in the kitchen!

2. For the Movie Buff: Velvet Creme Popcorn

I will be biased here and state that Velvet Crème Popcorn is my favorite popcorn in KC. The flavor they’re packing into every kernel is phenomenal. Plus, popcorn is appreciated by all ages and nothing goes better with a great Christmas movie. So whether you are needing a stocking stuffer for your kids or last minute gift for your grandparents, everyone will appreciate some Velvet Creme Popcorn.

3. For the Grillmaster: Meat Mitch BBQ Sauce

Nothing says KC like BBQ sauce. So why not give your loved ones the best sauce being served up in KC? Meat Mitch BBQ sauce is a personal favorite of mine. I’ve used it on a variety of different meats and I have yet to be disappointed. Buy Meat Mitch BBQ sauce. The carnivores in your life will appreciate it.

4. Fore the Early Bird: The Roasterie Coffee Box

The Roasterie coffee is the most popular coffee among locals. Their iconic plane highlights the Kansas City skyline as well as their extremely recognizable coffee cups. The Roaster Coffee Box is the ultimate gift for any coffee-addict in your life. To be honest, I’ll probably get this gift for myself this year.

5. For the Bruncher: SAP Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup

There is always a bottle of SAP Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup in our house. Whether we’re pouring it over freshly-made French toast or using it in recipe to marinate steaks, this syrup has a delicious taste and many different uses. It’s the perfect gift to bring brunch to the next level.

6. For the Chocolate Lover: Christopher Elbow + Andre’s

Chocolates are a great gift for anyone. Christopher Elbow’s beautiful works of art are created using the best chocolate from around the world. I had the pleasure of seeing the process behind how these tiny works of art are made and I was blown away. That being said, it did not stop me from eating 1 or 2 pieces…okay maybe 10. And Andre’s Confiserie Suisse is an institution: making chocolate in Kansas City since 1955, you can’t go wrong with a classic Swiss chocolate from this family run favorite. Put the two together and you’ve got the ultimate gift for the chocoholic in your life.

7. For the Beer Enthusiast: Case of Boulevard Brewery Beer

The craft beer scene has grown exponentially over the last few years. No longer is craft beer a beverage for the beer elites. Whether you enjoy a mild lager, an extra hoppy beer or even beer aged in whiskey barrels, Boulevard Brewery is putting out the best craft beer this side of the Mississippi.

8. For the Wine Snob: KC Wineworks

One gift you can never go wrong with is wine. I truly believe there is a wine out there for everyone, they may have just not found it yet. Make your way into the Made in KC store on the Country Club Plaza and find yourself a great bottle of wine from their selection, which includes several bottles from KC Wineworks- one of KC’s finest local wine makers.

9. MIKC Cafe Gift card

One gift that would certainly make any KC foodie happy is a gift card to MIKC Café. Made in KC has expanded all over the city these last few years and personally I love their cafes. Whether I’m downtown enjoying a cup of coffee at the Cafe on Baltimore, or at the Country Club Plaza location enjoying a holiday cocktail, the libations always seem to taste a little better since they are local.
