Is it even brunch without a mimosa in hand? We sent our resident bubbles expert, Allie Kyser (of Instagram’s Boozy KC) on a mission to find the most unique mimosas in town.

Eight mimosa flavors. Eight. Enough said! In case you need more to convince you, Tribe is an ultra-cool, laid-back, globally inspired fusion restaurant, and that concept totally transfers to their brunch. For $15 you can order bottomless mimosas in flavors like cranberry, pineapple, guava and the oh-so-special Chicha Morada. Pair it with the breakfast chimichanga (you read that right) and you’re set!

Art and brunch, can you think of a better combo?! Cafe Sebastienne is a smash hit that is sure to impress! Looking for a brunch spot with your girlfriends? Check. Mother-in-law? Check. Professional contacts? Check! This is the type of place that is so fun and interesting, but still chic and structured, that it works for any kind of brunch you can think of. Their mimosas are made with high quality sparkling wine, a detail that does not go unnoticed on the palate. The fact that the food is delectable is just an added bonus. No matter your seat, you’re sure to enjoy a wonderful brunch surrounded by contemporary art. Cafe Sebastienne is a classic KC gem!

I am never disappointed when I go to Ça’Va, and brunch is no exception. As a champagne bar, Ça’Va knows how to serve up an exceptional French bistro brunch. You will truly feel transported to Paris when you come here, and the staff is sure to make you feel welcome. They have a gorgeous pastry tower for brunch and everything from the quiche to the crepes to the bread pudding are OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing. Ça’Va is also known for their incredibly unique mimosa bar spread, which is as fun as it is indulgent. Pick from exotic bitters, fresh juices, and fun toppings to build your own mimosa (or two... or three). This is one of the first places I discovered in KC, and it’s taken a special place in my heart – I hope it will do the same for you. Do yourself a favor, and make reservations today!

Affare | 1911 Main St

This place can easily be summed up in one word: WOW. Affare seems to have the secret ingredient, because they are incredible at everything they do, including brunch. This modern German spot serves up a jazz brunch with bottomless mimosas EVERY. WEEKEND. With a mix of classic and intriguing brunch fare, there’s something for everyone. Order the chicken and waffles and I promise you’ll be begging for more. The butternut squash bread dumplings are pretty fantastic too! Let yourself be wooed with the sounds of live music and the tastes of undeniably delicious food at this beautiful KC classic.

Webster House | 1644 Wyandotte St

If you’ve been sleeping on this spot, it’s time to WAKE UP! Part restaurant, part antique/clothing/jewelry store, this is such a unique KC spot. The food is decadent and it’s so affordable! Also, bottomless mimosas. With fresh squeezed OJ. Need I say more? This converted school house is such a beautiful destination and it’s a stone’s throw from the Kauffman Center. The French toast was out of this world (think PB&J inspired in the BEST way). The B&G are made with buttermilk chive biscuits and you absolutely don’t want to skip on them. Order them as a side to take your meal to the next level. Webster House is hands down one of the tastiest and most unique brunch experiences you could ask for in KC.
