Hi! I'm Hannah Berry. I'm a freelance writer and a commercial real estate accountant. I love exploring Kansas City and trying new restaurants and activities. I also love to plan events and have a passion for traveling, especially on cruise ships and to warm climates!
To get to know Hannah a little better, we asked her a few questions.
Where would you most love to live in our city?
It's a toss up between the River Market and Downtown. I love the idea of living in a loft and being able to walk to lots of places. But I would have to keep my home in the suburbs too since I love a big yard and being able to plant flowers.
What would you do on a staycation in KC?
I would try several new restaurants and explore areas of town that I don't get to very often. I would also be sure to make a stop at Ibis Bakery for a yummy pastry, visit some local breweries and wineries, and catch some Latin jazz at the Blue Room.
Where would you tell a visiting friend or relative to go in KC?
They should definitely ride the streetcar, and check out the Plaza, WWI Museum, Liberty Memorial, and Union Station. Also, visit City Market for some fresh produce, samosas at Tikka House, Italian cookies at Carollo's, and the awesome chicken salad sandwich at Brown & Loe. Oh and don't forget the Betty Rae's ice cream!
