If you blink, you might miss the gem of a coffee shop that is Triple Crown Drinks, Eats & Events. Tucked into a corner right off the main drag of Broadway Boulevard through Westport, this cute spot is woman-owned and has an ambiance unlike any other.
The staff spared no detail while ensuring the space felt cozy and accommodating during the cold weather months. Pops of color and plush furniture hold space alongside tables for those dining together. A velvet armchair greets you in the entryway with other comfortable and accessible options.
The back patio is a great space to enjoy your coffee during warmer months, but is a breath of fresh air and a peek of sunshine while staying inside to keep warm. A beautiful mural sets the backdrop, with seasonal plants and decors like the mums adorning the porch.
The staff is really welcoming. Once you are inside, they encourage customers to explore the menu and ask questions. I wanted to try one of their New York-style bagels, and correctly chose french toast. I told the woman at the counter to throw in whichever shmear would be best, and she served it with regular cream cheese and syrup. It was divine.
The coffee itself at Triple Crown is indulgent, and there are so many different beverage options to choose from. Their February menu is available now, and includes the following.
