To get to know Kara a little better, we asked her a few questions.
What would you do on a staycation in KC?
A staycation in Kansas City would definitely be planned around which restaurants I would want to go to. Ideally it would start with brunch at Seven Swans Creperie, a late lunch at Parlor, dinner at Stag Pizza. Oh, and a time slot available for a massage at Etiquette, in the Crossroads!
Where would you most love to live in our city?
I would love to live by River Market, and that’s solely because I think living walking distance from an amazing farmer’s market would be dreamy!
Where would I tell a visiting friend or relative to go in KC?
I actually have a note saved in my phone, on hand at all times, filled with KC recommendations. I would tell a friend to make sure to visit a local coffee shop, go have a picnic at the Nelson Atkins with takeout, go take a walk around Loose Park, and be sure to get as much local shopping in as possible.
