Something Wicket | 4141 Pennsylvania Ave

Inside of Julep in Westport, Something Wicked this way comes… the secret back bar has been totally decked out with all things haunted, from glowing zombie paintings to creepy hands crawling out behind doors. Sit down and order off of a brilliantly bizarre cocktail menu, complete with crazy presentations like flaming garnishes, and take a stab at reading the tarot cards on your table.

Bar K | 501 Berkley Pkwy

Grab the pooch and head to Bar K to play with all the puppies during their two night Howl-O-Ween party (October 28th and 29th). If watching a ton of dogs dressed up in Halloween costumes run around while you sip a beer doesn’t sound like your idea of a good time, then we don’t know what does!

Pumpkin Patch

This one may be a no brainer, but nothing gets you in the Halloween spirit quite like picking out your own pumpkin to carve. There are tons of fall favorites all around KC, so be sure to hop in the car and head to a local pumpkin patch like Weston’s Red Barn Farm, Schaake's Pumpkin Patch or Johnson Farms Plants & Pumpkins. Have another favorite? Let us know!

Haunted Houses

Get your haunt on in the notorious West Bottoms haunted houses, a hallmark of Kansas City and a must-do during the Halloween season. There’s a reason KC has been dubbed the Haunted House Capital of the nation… if you’re brave enough, go find out why at The Beast, Macabre Cinema or The Edge of Hell.
