Fuel Your World Cup Hunger- KC's Best Late Night Eats
Hunger strikes anytime– luckily, so do these kitchens!
One of the biggest differences between Kansas City and other cities – particularly those that line the coasts – might come down to how sleepy we are. The midwest isn’t known for being open late, and our food options reflect that. But with the arrival of The World Cup in Kansas City comes the need for food and libations at all hours of the day and night.
Here, we have 8 of our notable favorite late-night options to keep you well-fed this soccer season.

The Brick
A grungy, fun spot with a “hole in the wall” atmosphere is The Brick. Featured on The Food Network quite extensively, this beloved bar on McGee in The Crossroads serves food until midnight, hosts some incredible live music. Try Guy Fieri’s favorites, the scratch-made Meatloaf Sandwich and Bacon-Wrapped and Beer-Battered Deep-Fried Hot Dog.
The Brick serves bar food until midnight on the weekends, and 10pm most other days. Some fan favorite foods include the Spinach and Feta Dip, Crunchy Thai Chicken Salad, and the B.L.T.

Boulevard Brewing Company
One of Kansas City’s great stops, especially for out of towners? Boulevard Brewing Company, a giant brewing operation just off Southwest Boulevard that finds its roots here. Their tasting room is a treasure in itself. Add on the friendly service, games, outdoor patio, gift shop, and tour options, and this place is a true go-to for Kansas Citians.
Lucky for us, Boulevard is adding tour times to their schedule to accommodate a bigger flow of traffic from out of towners, starting at the end of May. They are making plans to expand outdoor entertainment and dining before the World Cup and are said to be extending their Beer Hall hours past the regular 11am to 9pm as well.

Jim’s Alley Bar
Jim’s Alley Bar is interested in keeping you well fed. Located on 18th Street in a prime area of the Crossroads District, this hot spot has endless beverages to choose from. This family-owned spot is charming with a bit of class and serves food off their menu until midnight during the week and 1:30am on the weekends.
The Turkey Burger Sliders are out of this world, but you can also find me housing their mac & cheese on any given day. Wander in for brunch if you are feeling called to it. They serve Hostess products as dessert, which is the cherry on top of this experience.

Go Chicken Go
Another mainstay in the Kansas City metropolitan area is Go Chicken Go. Born from a gas station in 1969, this small local chain has 2 locations in Missouri, and three just across the state line in Kansas. While they don’t look like much more than fast food chain restaurants, these storefronts provide some of the best comfort food Kansas City has to offer.
The three-piece dinner comes highly recommended, however if you are someone who can stomach a gizzard, people go wild for them.
Pancho’s Mexican Food
If you are craving a major meal, Pancho’s Mexican Food has got you covered. With multiple locations across the metro area – including in Blue Springs, Independence, the Crossroads, north of the river, and even Lawrence – you will always have a late-night option, as well. While their website boasts 24-hour service, that may only be available at a couple of their locations.
As far as we can tell, you can enjoy a steaming hot plate of enchiladas or their incredible Birria mini tacos from 9am until 2am during the week and 9am until 3am on the weekends. Try the drive-through for a quick fix between 6am and 2am north of the river, off Vivion Road.

No Other Pub
If you are a true soccer fan, you might want to step into the Power & Light District’s No Other Pub, the local Sporting KC bar. Serving traditional bar food alongside a host of incredible craft beers and some indoor/outdoor gaming options, this is the place to be to find other sports aficionados and get lost in loud, friendly competition.
No Other Pub is hosting Soccer In The City, a series of World Cup viewing events experienced best on a 15-foot video wall provided by FanDuel, or hanging out in the bar and enjoying games on their countless televisions. No details on extended hours or activations have been published as of yet, but you can expect to enjoy their lat night menu until at least midnight on weekends.

The Blue Line Hockey Bar
Yes, The Blue Line might be a hockey bar. But, they serve all of their sports-fanatic customers well, and boast the best cheese curds in the city. With every food and sauce made from scratch in house, you know you are getting a quality meal – even if it does present as bar food.
This family-owned spot is best known for its wings, and is open from 11am to 3am every single day. Fans love it for the fast service. While it can get a little loud at times, it really is a friendly place to enjoy a game or two.

Parlor
In the middle of Crossroads East sits a dining hall, and it is one of the official hubs for FIFA 2026. Downstairs, an elevated bar area for mixing and mingling. Upstairs, several incredible food vendors that you can choose from. Delicious items from The Laos House, Mother Clucker, Elephant Wings, Ladybird Taqueria, and more await you and your friends.
Many TVs, an outdoor patio, and some extra space make this a great spot to meet friends to cheer on your favorite teams. While Parlor hasn’t announced an expansion of its hours for FIFA, you can dine there from 11am to 11pm and hang out until 1am.
