This past fall, I had the pleasure of being invited to a fantastic rooftop dinner at The Creamery Club Room and Rooftop Patio, Savor & Swirl.  These pop-up dinners had caught my attention via Instagram.  After attending, I knew I had to get the word out about this dynamic duo.

Savor & Swirl is a husband and wife team, Chef Kyle and Hannah Williams, who passionately enjoy the art of pairing food with wine and believe that meals are meant to be a communal experience that deepen friendships and create lasting memories together. At Savor & Swirl pop-ups, you will enjoy chef-driven cuisine paired with exceptional wines, served in an intimate dining setting with stellar ambiance at a temporary and secret location.  Seating will be very limited in order to encourage great conversation and education about the evening’s menu.  Their hope is that at the close of the evening you will have developed new friendships and have learned something new about food and wine.

Savor & Swirl was birthed from Chef Kyle’s desire for a creative outlet to make incredible dishes paired with his passion for great wine, married with Hannah’s passion for creating beautiful and enchanting ambiance to create a memorable dining experience for their guests.  They both find it an honor to have the opportunity to do what they love for their guests as best friends and husband and wife.

Chef Kyle has over 20 years expericence in the culinary industry.  He has worked in restaurants all over the world, from two Michelin star restaurants in Italy, to private resorts in Hawaii, and opening/working restaurants in NYC for some of the best celebrity chefs in the world, like Todd English, David Burke and Daniel Boulud.  Chef Kyle competed on a national television show, “Beat Bobby Flay,” on the Food Network. Although he didn’t win the competition, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  He has a true passion for creating delicious and beautiful dishes.

Now on to the fairer half of this talented duo, Chef Kyle’s wife, Hannah.  Hannah has always loved designing beautiful spaces for friends and family to relax, enjoy and settle in at.  She loves creating a space for her guests to be able to unwind and feel at home.  Designing the details for the pop-ups along with hosting guests for the evening is such a joy for her.  As their guest, I can attest to the genuine warmth that Hannah showers upon you.  Additionally, she manages the behind the scenes details (landing venues, emails, payments, etc.) which is no easy task.  Being married for over 13 years, Hannah has been a part of the restaurant scene through Chef Kyle’s work, travel and experiences.  She has gained insight, knowledge and developed a passion for the art of hospitality and ambiance.
