Hit the road!

It’s the summer of the great American roadtrip. Here are some guides to pit stops within striking distance of KC that are more than worth the drive. Don’t forget to take the scenic route!

Parkville

Northland

Keep driving north and follow along with a local’s insider guide– from hikes to restaurants, there’s tons to do beyond the river! Check out some quaint ice cream shops or take in the scenic views as you bop from BBQ spot to BBQ spot!

VACAY in KC

Venture further afield to Lawrence, and take in the sunflowers if you’re lucky enough to catch them in season! Anytime of year, you can find great restaurants and the makings of a perfect day trip.

Columbia

Head eastbound to another great college town. Home to Mizzou and Stephens, CoMo has a thriving arts scene and a growing farm to table movement that are more than worth the visit.

Springfield

A longer drive for a longer stay– Springfield has enough to fill a weekend, don’t be surprised! Druff’s serves world famous grilled cheese, but you’ll find plenty more tucked away in this Missouri road trip staple.
