It’s the summer of the great American roadtrip. Here are some guides to pit stops within striking distance of KC that are more than worth the drive. Don’t forget to take the scenic route!

Keep driving north and follow along with a local’s insider guide– from hikes to restaurants, there’s tons to do beyond the river! Check out some quaint ice cream shops or take in the scenic views as you bop from BBQ spot to BBQ spot!

A longer drive for a longer stay– Springfield has enough to fill a weekend, don’t be surprised! Druff’s serves world famous grilled cheese, but you’ll find plenty more tucked away in this Missouri road trip staple.
