Y’all, you need to get out of the house and out of town? You need to recharge and reset? You need to look at something other than the inside of your home and get some fresh air? Hallelujah, I have THE solution.

Sundance Ranch is only 45 minutes away from KC and gives you all the space, nature and amenities to take care of YOU. And maybe a loved one. Or heck, bring the kids. Or wait, you want to get away from them all and roll solo? Do it! Little getaways are my love language and the best way to reconnect with mother nature. Sundance Ranch is my go to!

This staycation paradise has adorable accommodations, trails and a private lake where you can swim, kayak, paddle board and fish. Whether you are looking to plan a sunny getaway, or just read in a cozy cabin, Sundance Ranch offers beautiful landscape, outdoor activities and most importantly an easily accessible place to mute the media and turn up the breathing.

They offer four options to shack up depending on your preference, and all accommodations have access to the lakeside deck with a grill, chairs and couches for lounging, and a great view of the water.

St Vincente Lake Cabin: This cozy home overlooks the lake with a king size bed and fireplace to warm you up in the winter months. Spend your time on the large deck watching sunsets, sipping coffee, reading a book, drinking cocktails and cooking dinner.  Bonus! You are just steps away from the community deck, grill and lake dock to the lake.

Treehouse: A cabin in the tress with two decks, a queen bed and mini fireplace. Feel like you are all alone, nestled among oaks. Grill dinner on the deck right outside your door or head down to the fire pit for s’mores. This spot is right on the creek and trails making it easy to get out and explore or make your way to the lake for water activities.

Glampsite: Experience nature in this cozy yurt that is right on the hiking trail and walking distance to the creek and lake. Expect to catch a glimpse of whitetail deer from your front porch. It includes a modern composting toilet (extremely clean and easy to use.) The glampsite includes a stone fire pit, a picnic table, a propane grill with a side burner for heating water in the kettle for tea or coffee in the morning and cooking meals.

Sundance Lake Cabin: Their newest location sleeps up to 6 and sits right on the private lake with gorgeous views in every direction. Catch the sunrise from the back deck overlooking the lake, walk down to the dock to spend time on/in the water or enjoy a warm night in front of the fireplace. The Lake Cabin has a full and beautiful kitchen, three beds, two bathrooms and a large living room.
