Cloudy Day Cookies | Heath Pretzel

available at Bay Boy Sandwiches & to order from @cloudydaycookies

The heath pretzel cookie from Cloudy Day Cookies is salty, sweet, and decadent. Bless my favorite local sandwich shop for introducing me to these incredible morsels. Different Cloudy Day Cookie flavors are available daily at Bay Boy Sandwiches in West Plaza. Want to impress everyone you know? Buy frozen cookie dough directly from Cloudy Day and bake them fresh at home for your next gathering. Your house has never smelled so good.

KCookie Company | Poppy Chow

available to order at www.kcookiecompany.com

This cookie was a collaboration between Aubrey Schoenekase of kalecouture.com and KCookie Company. A play on words and a nod to Aubrey’s dog Poppy, this cookie reimagines a classic childhood treat by topping a whopping 6 ounce peanut butter cookie with “puppy chow” and powdered sugar. Take a bite and be transported back to simpler days.

Billie’s Grocery | Frosted Sugar Cookie

3216 Gillham Plaza

Are you one of those people that thinks gluten-free treats can’t possibly be as good as the “real” thing? I was too - until the Billie’s Grocery sugar cookie completely changed my mind. Turns out, not only can a gluten-free cookie be good, it can be one of the best. These cookies are huge with a creamy frosting that tastes like it’s been whipped into magic. And just in case you weren’t already having fun, the sprinkles on top will put a smile on your face.

Heirloom Bakery | PB Chocolate Ganache Cookie Sandwich

401 E 63rd St

The only thing better than one peanut butter cookie is two…filled with chocolatey goodness. The first time I tried one of these, I shared it with two friends which seemed like a reasonable way to enjoy an enormous cookie sandwich. The next time I had one, I was done being reasonable. I devoured the entire thing on my own - as I have done many times since.

French Market | Chocolate Chip Cookie

I stumbled upon this cookie while enjoying the French Market patio with my sister - a treat that almost never happens since we live in different cities. As momentous as that occasion was, I don’t have the faintest idea what we discussed because all I remember was the pure bliss I felt with every single bite. It’s hard to beat a classic chocolate chip cookie - especially one that delivers layers upon layers of chocolate with flakey sea salt on top. We got a pack of three and each had one with our tea. Imagine my delight when I realized she forgot to take the last one home with her when she left town.
